I had so much fun taking my cousin Jessie's engagements! I wanted to get some more experience before I started doing things on my own, so I was more of an assistant to my sister in-law, Claire. I still took pictures of my own, but I just let Claire drive the shoot and I ran around getting different angles.

Beginning.

My daddy has had a Cannon 40d for a while, and I always played with it, but I was never quite sure what to do with it. As I got older, my curiosity peaked and I began to research how it worked, took a class, and experimented. A lot.

After doing lots of photos of random things, I came to love taking pictures of people. I observed my sister in-law and tried to learn what I could from her. (Her blog can be found here: All The Belles and Whistles.) She, along with several others, inspired me to try doing something with it.
